Those Kerrynomics Plans Arn't Holding Up Well

The National Review online is running a nice story on Kerrynomics. If you wanted to know if Kerry's plans will work, and from a credible economic expert, then this is the story:

John F. Kerry’s “Economic Policy” graced the editorial pages of the Wall Street Journal on September 15. Even though the Journal occasionally leans a little to the right, it was considerate of the editors to publish Kerry’s outline of his economic vision of America. One would expect that the candidate who has been accused of being indecisive, non-committal, and critical in his speeches would outline a positive and forceful view of how he sees America in the next four years under his leadership. Unfortunately, he didn’t take advantage of this unique opportunity.

Well, I presented the fact that Kerry has to talk about issues before Bush gave his convention speech here. So, now Kerry has let his plans, advertised almost exclusivly on his website, go under harsh attack. Yet Kerry has entirely forgotten to make a defense for his plans.

The really strange thing is that a ton of people still think Kerry would be better for the economy. This may be the result of perfect propaganda (it is "propaganda" by a common definition: convincing others of something you don't believe yourself). People think Kerry has a good economic plan, but only because they are told so by people who should know better.
